Management School guest lecturers

You told us

Feedback from Management School students in the National Student Survey 2011 indicated that students would like some of their lectures and subjects to draw more directly from business and industry.

What we did

In response to this the Management School has introduced more guest lecturers to enrich its teaching.

Students can listen to leading professionals speak about key management and business issues that relate to course modules being covered at the time.

Guests so far have included Tony Yates, Senior Advisor at the Bank of England; Howard Norris, a solicitor and Human Rights Act expert; and Kevin Reid, Director of Ness Gardens.

Presentations take place during scheduled lectures and are getting an excellent response from students.
