Nominations for the SO elections are now open, giving students the opportunity to elect their peers to lead the work of the Guild for the next year.
Do you have what it takes to represent students? Do you know somebody who’s passionate about student issues, approachable and engaging, and has great ideas about how to change things?
As students, you need to speak up about who you think would be good in the job.
Nominations are invited for:
- 4 Student Representative Officers to lead the organisation full-time for a year.
- 3 Student Trustees to sit on the Guild’s decision-making committee (part-time).
- 5 Delegates to go to the National Union of Students Conference to represent the interests of the students of the University of Liverpool.
If you know someone you think would suit one of these roles, you can make your nomination on the SO Recommend page.
If you’re interested in nominating yourself please visit the SO Stand page.
All students who have been nominated will be contacted by email and encouraged to put themselves forward for the positions.
The nomination period runs from the 27th January – 28th February 2014. All details can be found on so-elections.com.
Have any questions about putting yourself forward? Why not attend the Liverpool Guild of Students workshop ‘So You Want To Run For Election?’ on 13 February.
The elections will be held from the 17 – 21 March 2014.
