Undergraduate and postgraduate taught students are being given the opportunity to share their views about the University’s IT services.
The results of the IT survey, which is being run by the University’s Computing Services Department (CSD), will be used to help shape future IT developments.
The questionnaire should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete and will close on Friday, 9 May.

As a direct result of the responses to last year’s IT survey, a number of service improvements have been made including:
- Print Anywhere: This service enables you to easily print from your own computer, tablet or mobile device using email or a web browser. As well as providing more flexible access to printing, the service helps to reduce demand on campus computers which might otherwise have been tied up to complete simple printing jobs. http://www.liv.ac.uk/csd/printing/print-anywhere/
- PC Finder: This service enables students to find available PC seats on campus. The tool uses the location service on a mobile to determine the nearest centres with free seats. It shows how many PCs are available, for how long and displays a map to guide you to the PC centre. http://pcseats.liv.ac.uk/
- Wireless improvements: The process for connecting to the University wireless service has been streamlined and coverage has been extended across the campus as part of the ongoing University network improvement programme. http://wireless.liv.ac.uk/
- Liverpool Life: This academic year has seen the introduction of the new portal which replaces the SPIDER student web. Liverpool Life provides undergraduate and postgraduate students with an improved interface, delivering access to personalised academic information.
