Nominations invited for Bionow Annual Awards

Postgraduate students are being invited to celebrate their work, and that of the industrial partners they work with, by entering the Annual Awards, held by Bionow – a membership organisation for bioscience, biomedical and life sciences.

The awards celebrate achievement and excellence across the bioscience, biomedical and life-sciences, drug discovery fields, including clinical trials.

The 2014 categories are expected to include:

– Biomedical Project of the Year

– Promising Technologist of the Year

– Healthcare Project of the Year

– Innovative Ageing of the Year Award

Stephen Hillier, Business Gateway, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for postgraduate students to showcase their work and success could lead to new opportunities, collaborations and, ultimately, funding.

“We are looking for strong nominations or self-applications for these awards from University of Liverpool academics or collaborating companies and organisations.”

Winners will be announced on 27 November at the 2014 Bionow Annual Awards Dinner at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Cheshire. For more information, contact Stephen Hillier.
