An improved PIN format for Liverpool Life has been introduced to enhance the security of student’s data.
All existing PINS were reset on Monday, 21 July 2014. If you are a current student returning for study in September and have not logged in to Liverpool Life since 21 July, the next time you visit the Liverpool Life login screen you will be prompted to create a new PIN to meet the requirements of the new format.
Your new PIN will need to be between 8 and 12 characters in length, and must include numbers, letters and special characters (e.g. * : @ | # \ % , ; $ & £ < > +).
It can take up to 24 hours for your PIN to be activated following the change.
Liverpool Life is used by students at the University to access:
- Online registration
- Module information and registration
- Academic and examination timetables
- Supervisor and tutor lists
- Results and transcripts
- Fees and funding information
- Requests for official documentation
Applicants to the University can use the portal to track the progress of their application, update CAS information and apply for accommodation.
New students starting in September will only need to reset their PIN if they have forgotten the one they were issued with during the application process.
If you experience any difficulties with accessing Liverpool Life, or with updating your PIN, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
