Are you up to the challenge?

The search is on for students to compete in BBC2 quiz show University Challenge.

The show, which has been on the air since 1962, features teams of students from universities across the UK being pitted against each other by host, Jeremy Paxman.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to claim the University Challenge trophy for the University of Liverpool, come along to the trials in the Guild of Students on either Monday 17 or Tuesday 18 November. At the trials, students will be given a booklet of sample questions of varying levels of difficulty to complete.

Both undergraduate and postgraduate students on full-time or part-time courses can take part. Please note that you must sign up to the trials, using the links below, before Thursday 6 November at 5pm.
