The best of students and University staff were celebrated at the Liverpool Guild of Students annual awards ceremony.

Now in its seventh year, the awards recognise groups and individuals who have gone above and beyond to have a positive impact on the student experience.

More than 500 nominations were received in support of individuals and groups who work to make university life better.

Here are the winners who picked up awards on the night:

President Harry Anderson, said: “Guild Awards is a big date in our calendar and I have really enjoyed being part of recognising the great work our societies, teachers and individuals do every day.

“As well as rewarding the winners, this event is our way of saying thanks to everyone for their hard efforts and celebrating another successful year of activity at the Guild.”

    Nothing for the Medical Students’ Society? What a shame after raising the most Charity money, having the most events and gaining the most members!
    Nontheless, congrats to all who won and looking forward to another great year for all societies!
