Liverpool Guild of Students is hosting a dedicated networking event for postgraduates at the University.
The event, which is the first of its kind for the 2015/16 academic year, follows the success of last year’s programme which saw Postgraduates from a wide range of disciplines get together to meet and learn more about the research being conducted at the University.
Both Postgraduate Taught and Research students are welcome to attend the event which takes place on Tuesday, 13 October 2015 at 6pm in the Gilmour Room.
Microphone spots will be available for any students who want to give a three minute talk on their subject or work, and free nibbles and drinks will be available to all those who attend.
Deputy President of the Guild, Alex Ferguson, said: “This is a great opportunity for Postgraduates to come along to an informal setting and have a natter with like-minded people. We are currently looking to develop our programme to include film screenings and themed discussion groups, and are looking for any feedback and input which will help us to shape what these events look like in the future.”
If you would like to come along, please RSVP by email to Alex Ferguson by Friday 9 October 2015. Please also indicate if you would like to give a three minute talk.
