To celebrate and promote the ‘Year in China’ programme, the University is holding a launch event to coincide with this year’s Study Abroad Fair.

Each year more than 250 students from the University choose to go and study abroad at one of our partner universities across the globe as part of their degree programme.

Opportunities range from spending a semester abroad as an exchange student or attending a summer school, to participating in the new Year in China programme which gives students the chance to study for a year at our joint venture institution in Suzhou, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU).

Students can find out what is available at this year’s Study Abroad Fair which will take place on Thursday, 5 November, 11am to 3pm in Mountford Hall, Liverpool Guild of Students. The launch of the Year in China programme is taking place on the same day 12pm to 1pm in the Stanley Theatre. Following the short presentations, there will be an opportunity to network and enjoy free Chinese food.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak to students who have already studied abroad, and meet the exchange students who are currently studying in Liverpool.  Information will also be available about internationally focused student societies as well as international travel advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Eligible students will have received a registration link via an invitation sent to their University email address.
