Students are being reminded to complete their voting registration by Friday, 20 November 2015.
Whether you live on campus, in town, in halls of residence or in rented accommodation, you are part of the local community and are eligible to have a say in the way the City of Liverpool is run.
The process is simple and only takes a couple of minutes.
Simply go to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote and provide the information requested. You can also access the registration process via the Liverpool Life student portal.
Students are eligible to be registered at both their home and university addresses. It is possible to register after 20 November 2015 but you won’t appear on the December electoral register which will be used to determine constituency boundaries.
Being registered to vote not only means that you will have the right to have your say in any elections or referenda held within the city, but if you aren’t registered then this may affect your credit rating both now and in the future.
