Liverpool Guild of Students is hosting a special inter-disciplinary networking event for postgraduate students at the University.
It is the fourth in a series of events which gives students the opportunity to meet fellow postgraduates and learn more about the research being conducted at Liverpool through a series of three minute talks.
Both postgraduate taught and research students are welcome to attend the event which takes place on Monday, 7 December at 6pm in the Guild’s Cellar Bar.
Microphone spots will be available for any students who want to give a three minute talk on their subject or work, and free nibbles and drinks will be available to all those who attend.
Deputy President of the Guild, Alex Ferguson, said: “This is a great opportunity for postgraduates to come along to an informal setting and have a natter with like-minded people. We are currently looking to develop our programme to include film screenings and themed discussion groups, and are looking for any feedback and input which will help us to shape what these events look like in the future.”
If you would like to come along, please RSVP by email to Alex Ferguson by Friday, 4 December, indicating if you would also like to give a three minute talk about your subject of study.
