The University has received more nominations than any other institution in the National Undergraduate Employability (NUE) Awards.
The event, which takes place in February, celebrates the outstanding achievements of all those involved in undergraduate work experience and benchmark the employers, universities and students who have demonstrated commitment and dedication to undergraduate employability.
The University Placement Team has been nominated for Best Placement Service and Most Improved Commitment to Employability. Darren Siggers of the Placement team has also been nominated for Outstanding Contribution to Work Experience.
Student Jade Kelsall from the Management School has also received a NUE nomination for Best Placement Student for her work at PSA Peugeot Citroën.
Rachael Collins, Head of Placements at the University’s Careers & Employability Service said: “This is a fantastic achievement for the University of Liverpool. The placement team work hard to provide all students with the advice, support and networks they need when applying for internships and placements.
“We believe our bespoke modules, unlimited one to one student appointments and industry collaborations have contributed to us being shortlisted for the three national awards. Our students are our best assets and we are particularly proud of Jade Kelsall who has also been shortlisted for ‘Best Placement Student.”
