The Computing Services Survey 2016 is now open, giving students the opportunity to share their views about computing services at the University and how they can be improved.
To say thank you for taking part, students who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad mini.
All students will receive an email this week with a link to take part, or you can go directly to http://survey.liv.ac.uk/csdstudentsurvey2016.
The closing date for completing the survey is Friday, 18 March. It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Director of Computing Services, John Cartwright, said: “Aligning the Computing Services that we provide for you with your needs and expectations is essential if we are to provide truly excellent services. I would therefore welcome your view of the IT services we currently provide, and your comments and suggestions of how we could improve these in the future.”
Last year’s survey resulted in a number of improvements to Computing Services including:
- An increase in the number of PCs in the libraries
- The development of DatAnywhere for accessing your files from mobile phones, tablets and computers as well as sharing files with colleagues and friends
- Providing Microsoft Office free for your home computer, tablet and phone
- Deploying Stream Capture for capturing lectures and seminars so that you can use them for recap and revision.
