National Student Money Week is a national event which aims to promote financial capability and highlight the services which are available to help students to manage their money.
Wealth checks will be running all week for students who are concerned they are not receiving all the money they’re entitled to including statutory funding and welfare benefits.
The team will also be running a workshop on applying to the University Hardship Fund – a fund for students who are experiencing ongoing financial difficulties or unexpected essential expenditure.
The Fund, which replaces the Access to Learning Fund, is open to UK students in financial hardship.
The team will also be working in partnership with Liverpool Central Citizens Advice Bureau to deliver a workshop on ‘Energy Best Deal’ which will help students find the best energy suppliers and provide tips on saving money.
