The University and Liverpool Guild of Students are hosting a number of events and activities to support University Mental Health Day on Thursday, 3 March.
It is the biggest day of student mental health activism in the UK, with events on campuses across the UK.
Liverpool Guild of Students will be hosting a Relaxation Room in Activity Space 3 where students can drop in and take some time out from University Life.
There are also a number of events taking place in University Halls of Residence including wellbeing fairs where students can get free massage treatments, as well as free fitness classes and healthy breakfast clubs.
Free health checks and swim sessions will be available for students all week from 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm at the Sports & Fitness Centre.
There will also be some Mental Health Advisory Service Q&A sessions where students can join in a discussion about the challenges that student’s face at university and what that means for their mental health. The sessions are taking place 12pm – 1pm on Thursday, 3 March in room 101A in the Whelan Building, and 1pm – 2pm on Friday, 4 March in Cedar House room 521.
