The University of Liverpool has been shortlisted for best ‘City Life’ in the WhatUni Student Choice Awards 2016.

Twenty-five thousand students across the UK cast their votes for the awards this year. Liverpool is one of 10 universities to be shortlisted in the ‘City Life’ category alongside the Universities of Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sussex and Leeds College of Art.

The awards are based entirely on reviews and give students the opportunity to celebrate their favourite aspects of life at university. The winners will be announced on 16 April.

There are 10 categories in this year’s awards: Accommodation, City Life, Clubs & Societies, Course & Lecturers, Job Prospects, Student Union, Uni Facilities, Support Services, and an overall rating which counts towards the title ‘University of the Year’.  The category for International is based on the overall rating as given by international students at each university.

The WhatUni Student Rankings offer prospective students an alternative to traditional university ranking systems.
