Spend your summer in China

Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University

Students who are interested in visiting China can access a unique study opportunity this summer at our joint venture institution in Suzhou – Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU).

XJTLU is giving Liverpool students the chance to spend two, four or six weeks studying the Mandarin language or spend the month of July exploring social change in China, with visits to Suzhou, Xi’an and Chengdu.

There are 10 tuition-free places up for grabs on the language programme, and all Liverpool students are being offered a 30% discount if they don’t secure a free place.

For details of the Mandarin language summer school, including costs, please visit: http://academic.xjtlu.edu.cn/lc/summer-school.

There are also two tuition-free places available on the Social Change in China programme. For further information, including costs, please visit: http://academic.xjtlu.edu.cn/chinastudies/summer-courses?menuCode=004.

All applicants will be considered for the tuition-free places. Decisions will be made based on the quality of application essays and academic marks, with first priority given to students who are in receipt of the Liverpool Bursary.

To apply for the programme, please submit your Summer Study Abroad application by Sunday, 24 April: https://www.service4mobility.com/europe/BewerbungServlet?identifier=LIVERPO01&kz_bew_art=OUT&kz_bew_pers=S&aust_prog=SPR&sprache=en.
