Free Blue Skies events at International Festival for Business

A diverse collection of innovators, thinkers and business leaders are preparing to share their experiences at this year’s International Festival for Business (IFB) as part of the Blue Skies programme of events.

Curated by Jude Kelly (Artistic Director Southbank Centre), the Blue Skies programme is a group of events that sit around the main business-focused content of the three-week festival which is taking place in Liverpool from Monday, 13 June.

Centering around nine themed days, Blue Skies is free and open to all, and is expected to be a highlight at this year’s festival.

It has been designed to challenge what we know about business, society, culture and environment, and will share visions of a future that will have a major impact on the way in which we live and work.

University of Liverpool Vice-Chancellor, Professor Janet Beer, will be speaking at ‘The business of…women’ event on Wednesday, 15 June where a frank look will be taken at what prevents women from achieving their potential before considering possible solutions. She will be joined by fellow speaker Claire Dove who is the Chair of Social Enterprise UK.
