Guild wins best Students’ Union at NUS Awards

Liverpool Guild of Students has won best Students’ Union at this year’s NUS Awards.

The awards that took place on Wednesday, 6 July were attended by Student Unions across the United Kingdom.

Liverpool Guild of Students was shortlisted for the Higher Education Student’s Union Award alongside Bournemouth, Edinburgh, Southampton Solent and the University of West Scotland.

On winning the award Guild President Harry Anderson said:  “We’re over the moon to have been crowned the best Students’ Union in the country. The Guild has been on a journey over the last few years – with the refurbishment and a new Strategic Plan – and winning this award recognises all the hard work that has gone into making the Guild such a success.”
