Students arriving on campus this week have enjoyed a packed programme of events, talks and activities in this year’s Welcome Week.
Almost 5,000 new students have arrived on campus this week in addition to our returning students, many of whom have been busy finding out what’s on offer and getting to grips with campus life.
The Welcome Fair took place across Thursday and Friday in Mountford Hall in the Liverpool Guild of Students building.
The stalls stretched right around the main building including into The Street and out onto Guild Walk where students were treated to live DJ sets and numerous pop up stalls with hundreds of freebees and giveaways.
There was also a Sport Welcome Fair which took place at the same time in the University Sports and Fitness Centre.
Both new and returning students use the fairs as an opportunity to find out how to get involved in all that university life offers and decide which societies, activities, events, sports clubs and volunteering opportunities they may want to get involved in throughout the year.
The London campus also hosted a series of events during Welcome Week with students receiving a full induction onto their programmes and the opportunity to meet the academics and other students on their course.
