Budding writers are being encouraged to have their news, views and comments published on the University Student News site.
Student writers have been popular contributors to the site since it launched in December 2013, providing up-to-date news and insight for students at the University of Liverpool.
No previous experience is necessary. You just need a strong view or interesting tale and you could have your piece published on the website for fellow students and staff to read.
Articles can be on any topic as long as it is relevant to a student audience, and can be in a blog or more factual style, for example about society activities or events.
Commenting on the opportunity, Student Communications Officer Joanna Brown, said: “Having your writing published on the University Student News site can be a great way to raise the profile of a specific organisation or society, get your writing skills noticed, or even gather some portfolio material to supplement your CV.
“Student successes, experiences, opinions and information are all welcome.”
For further guidance and to submit your article for consideration, please visit https://student-news.liverpool.ac.uk/submit-a-story/ or contact Joanna Brown on email@example.com.
