Student Support Services rebranded

The University’s Student Support Services has been rebranded to Student Welfare Advice and Guidance. The team will continue to work closely with the Counselling and Mental Health Services under the umbrella of Student Services.

The department has changed its name in order to better reflect the service it provides. Student Welfare Advice and Guidance includes three specialist teams offering Disability, International and Money advice and guidance, as well as the new Advice and Guidance team, which provides initial advice on issues which may be affecting students’ general welfare.

The department’s website has been updated to reflect the changes.

Student Welfare Advice and Guidance will remain in their current location behind the Guild until early 2017, when they will move into the building recently vacated by Blackwells’ book shop along with Careers & Employability.

If you have any further queries or would like to contact the team please email or call 0151 794 5863. A full list of contacts is available at:
