Your chance to vote: Choose your national representatives

A number of students from the University of Liverpool have put themselves forward to speak on your behalf at national conferences. If selected, the students will become National Union of Students (NUS) delegates. They will be your voice and will discuss student issues at a national level.

There are four delegate categories:

  • NUS Conference delegates
  • Black conference delegates
  • LGBT conference delegates
  • Womens’ conference delegates

National Union of Students (NUS) delegates

Between Monday 5 December 2016 and Friday 9 December 2016, you can vote for your preferred NUS delegates. If elected, delegates will:

  • attend the National Conference in April 2017 so they can represent and lobby for the interests of fellow students
  • help to set the policy and leadership of the NUS for the year ahead

You can read the candidates’ manifestos here.

To vote, you will receive an email from the Liverpool Guild of Students, which contains a link. Follow the link within your email to vote. Alternatively, you can also vote via the Liverpool Guild of Students website.

Black, LGBT and Womens’ delegates

To vote, you will need to attend the Black, LGBT and Womens’ Rep Elections event, Wednesday 7 2016.
