Business studies student nominated for National Undergraduate Employability Award

Mark Rodmell, a business studies student, has recently been nominated for a National Undergraduate Employability Award having spent a year in industry at Virgin Media.

Taking place in February, the National Undergraduate Employability Awards celebrates the outstanding achievements of everyone involved in undergraduate work experience. Mark has been shortlisted in the Best Placement Student category. Every student nominated within this category has made a genuine impact to their business while on placement.

The University of Liverpool has also received three additional nominations in the National Undergraduate Employability Awards, including Best University Careers / Employability Service. The University’s Placement Team has been nominated for Best University Placement Service and Most Improved Commitment to Employability. Head of Placements at the University’s Careers and Employability Service, Rachel Collins, has been nominated for Outstanding Contribution to Work Experience.
