National Student Money Week is back and this year runs from 6 February to 10 February. Throughout the week, you can talk to members of the Money Advice and Guidance team about managing your budget and any financial concerns you may have.
Topics you will be able to find out more about include: student loans and grants, funding implications of suspending or withdrawing, advice and guidance for estranged or independent students, the University Hardship Fund, welfare benefits, debts, Support Care Leavers and support for students with caring responsibilities.
To speak to staff, simply visit the ground floor of the Student Services Centre where the Money Advice and Guidance team are based. The team are available from 9am until 5pm daily during the week. Information stands will also be available at locations across campus. For details and to find out where the stands are located, please contact the Money Advice and Guidance team.
Caroline O’Connell, the Money Advice and Guidance Team Leader, said: “National Student Money Week is a good time to think about your finances. If you’ve got any concerns at all about money come and visit the team for advice.”
