Last year, Wellbeing Week was a huge success and saw the University take part in a number of wellbeing activities, from knitting and colouring to a visit from a Bike Doctor and a Danceathon. Today it has been announced that Wellbeing Week 2017 is going to run from Monday 8 May to Friday 12 May.
This year’s Wellbeing Week will focus on ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’. Activities will include themed talks from specialists and experts, as well as a 5km campus run. Check the Wellbeing Week’s webpage for updates on plans for the week.
Make a Pledge
Leading up to Wellbeing Week, teams and individuals are encouraged to Make a Pledge. If you choose to pledge, you commit to making a change that will improve your wellbeing. The change can be big or small and can be whatever you feel will make an improvement to your wellbeing.
Last year, Vice-Chancellor Professor Janet Beer made a pledge to swim 1500m three times during Wellbeing Week 2016.
To make your pledge, you will simply need to fill in an online form. We’ll share the form with you once it is live. You can make a pledge as an individual or a team and you can also choose if you would like to have your progress tracked.
