Your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) is a record of all your university achievements, both academic and extra-curricular.
Section 6.1 of your HEAR contains details of some (but not all) co- and extra- curricular activities that have been approved by the University for inclusion on your HEAR. You don’t need to worry if you don’t have any eligible activities for section 6.1 of your HEAR. If this is the case, this section will simply not appear on your HEAR.
If you are graduating from an undergraduate or postgraduate taught course in 2017, you will receive a PDF version of your HEAR once you graduate. You can then send this document to prospective employers.
Below, you’ll find a checklist outlining the development of your HEAR, in addition to details about how and when your HEAR will be sent to you.
You can find out more information about what the HEAR is, and what activities are eligible for inclusion, via the HEAR FAQs page.
Checklist for graduating students
If you are undertaking a co- or extra- curricular activity that is eligible for inclusion on your HEAR, make sure you are familiar with the HEAR protocol statements to ensure you will complete them by the end of April 17. If you have any questions about the content of a HEAR protocol, check with the person who organises the activity.
Details of any completed and verified co- and extra- curricular activities will be added to your My Liverpool e-Portfolio. You will be sent an email asking you to check the contents of your My Liverpool e-Portfolio for accuracy. You can do this via Liverpool Life. Check the information is correct. If there are any errors, please contact your Activity Owner.
Complete the ‘Skills Reflection’ section for each activity in your My Liverpool e-portfolio. You can access your My Liverpool e-portfolio via Liverpool Life.
The University will email you, inviting you to add activities from your My Liverpool e-Portfolio to section 6.1 of your HEAR. If no activities are selected, the first five in your e-Portfolio will automatically be uploaded to your HEAR.
Once you have graduated, you will be emailed a PDF version of your HEAR. The only thing left to do now is to share your HEAR with prospective employers.
If you would like more information about your HEAR, please contact the My Liverpool team: firstname.lastname@example.org.
