Everything you need to know about your HEAR

Your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) is a record of all your university achievements, both academic and co and extra-curricular.

If you are graduating from an undergraduate or postgraduate taught course in 2017, you will receive a PDF version of your HEAR once you graduate. You can then send this document to prospective employers or, if you are interested in further study, higher education institutions.

Your HEAR replaces and extends the traditional academic transcript and Diploma Supplement. It will contain detailed information about your learning and achievements and, along with your degree certificate, can be used to support your future job applications and further study.

Trish Lunt, the My Liverpool Lead, said: “The HEAR is an important report that is hugely valuable in today’s competitive graduate market. Employers tend to demand evidence of achievements above and beyond your degree. We encourage every student to take part in co- or extra- curricular activities, some of which can be verified and added to your HEAR.”

You can see an example HEAR document here.
