Watch BBC Radio 4’s quiz show

The 3rd Degree Radio 4 BBC

Students and staff are invited to watch The 3rd Degree – a BBC Radio 4 programme that is being recorded Tuesday, 7 March.

Hosted by Steve Punt, who’s written for The Now Show and Horrible Histories, The 3rd Degree is a light-hearted quiz show where students go head-to-head with their professors. Participants are tested on their general knowledge, as well as on specialist subjects.

For Tuesday’s edition of the programme, three students from the University of Liverpool will be pitted against Professor Sue Wray, Institute of Translational Medicine, Professor Peter Kinderman, Institute of Psychology, Health and Society and Dr Roland Enmach from the Department of Archaeology.

After the quiz, there is potential for a Q&A session. This may be of interest to you if you would like to know more about television, radio or comedy production.

If you’d like to watch The 3rd Degree, the event is free to attend and you do not need to book a place. The quiz is taking place at The Leggate Theatre. Doors close at 17:50 and the session will last about an hour and ten minutes.

The 3rd Degree is produced by Radio 4 and is currently in its seventh series.
