This summer you could study in China or Hong Kong if you apply for a Summer Abroad programme before Friday, 7 April.
Summer Abroad is open to all undergraduate students, no matter what subject you are studying. If you’re successful in your application, you will go on a short-term summer placement overseas.
There are a range of topics you can choose to study during your placement, including:
- Business and Management, China Studies, Chinese Language, Environment, Science and Technology, Humanities and Social Science at the Chinese University of
Hong Kong (Hong Kong)
- Chinese Language and Culture at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University
- Social Change in China at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University
To help fund your placement, you can apply for a tuition-free place, which means that you would only need to pay for your accommodation and your spending money. If you receive the Liverpool Bursary, you’ll be prioritised for one of these tuition-free places.
If you study on one of our Summer Abroad programmes, your grades from your summer placement course will not impact your degree mark or progress. However, you’ll gain a number of important skills and will gain experience that could help you when you applying for jobs in the future.
A record of your exchange will also be added to your Higher Education Achievement Report, so you are able to showcase your experience to future employers.
