Registrations open for Wellbeing Week 5k run

Campus 5K Run Wellbeing Week

Staff and students can now register for the Liverpool 5k Campus Run and the 2.5k Campus Walk, which are both set to take place on Wednesday, 10 May at 12:15.

All abilities are welcome and the events will start and finish outside the Sports and Fitness Centre. Last year, both the 5k Campus Run and the 2.5k Campus Walk attracted a huge turnout, with over 230 participants.

Speaking about the upcoming activities, Ryan Swinney, Sport Development Officer, said: “I really encourage everyone to sign-up, no matter what your ability. Last year we had a great time and there was a fantastic atmosphere around the course. We want this year to be even bigger and better. And don’t forget, fancy dress is very welcome.”

The Campus Run and Campus Walk are both part of Wellbeing Week – an annual celebration of all things health and wellbeing. Throughout the week, staff and students will be able to take part in a huge variety of activities, from yoga and workouts to reiki and falconry. To see the full programme of events, please visit the Wellbeing Week webpages.
