Registrations are open for Robots and Code – a beginner-level course that will teach you to code using Python.
On the course, which takes place on Wednesday, 12 July 2017 at Sensor City, you’ll be given a friendly introduction to Python and also get a beginner’s introduction to Arduino – an open source platform that is used to develop electronics projects. You’ll get guidance on building your first Arduino project and have a front-row seat to a fast-paced robot race.
What is Python?
Python is a popular programming language that powers sites like Google and Youtube.
If you attend the session, you’ll also get to see Sensor City, Liverpool’s new hub for sensor technology development and growth which is a joint venture between the University and Liverpool John Moores University.
Organised by HiPy – a group of researchers from the University – the event is partnered with LivIDEA. LivIDEA will deliver the Arduino content for the session.
