Our Campus Support Services team help to keep our campus safe and there are a number of ways you can work with the team while you are a student at the University.
This team, Campus Support – who used to be known as Security – have a new uniform. If you’re a returning student, you may notice the team are now wearing a lilac and grey outfit, instead of their former black and white uniform.
Speaking about the change, Andrew Molloy Head of Campus Support Services said: “The change in the name and the uniform is important because we want students and staff to feel like they can approach us with any issues or questions they may have about safety.
“Our team don’t just deter and reduce security-related risks. We also assist with University events, provide advice on property and personal safety and deliver a chaperone service, 24-hours a day, and seven days a week. We want to make sure all students and staff are aware of the work we do and how we can help them.”
