4 things you should do now if you’re graduating in July 2018

Kick Start

July may seem a long way off, but trust us it’s coming up fast and everyone who’s hoping to graduate this summer needs should begin thinking about the next steps.

Our Careers and Employability Service are on hand to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in the jobs market. To help you achieve that, here are four things the Service want you to do now:

  1. Book an appointment with the Careers and Employability Service. They can help you with your job application, upcoming interview, assessment centre preparation and talk to you about careers you might want to pursue. You can either book an appointment for an in-depth talk or attend a drop-in session where a member of the team will check your application or discuss options for after your course.
  2. If you can’t make it in to see us, send your careers questions or job applications for review using our Ask a Question service.
  3. We’re going to be on University Square every Thursday. Come and talk to us about how we can help. You can also enter our competition to win an iPad.
  4. Keep up-to-date with all of the information you need via the Careers and Employability Service’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Use the hashtag #Classof2018 to find content that’s relevant to you.

For more information on our support for the #Classof2018 visit the Careers and Employability website.
