Further Arriva strike – students advised to plan ahead

Arriva Bus Strike

Arriva staff are planning to take further industrial action on the 27 November, which will affect bus services used by many staff and students.

There will be no Arriva services operating within Merseyside on this date.

If you have a pre-paid Arriva ticket (weekly or annual ticket) you will be able to use it on the Merseyrail network – for details of times please visit Merseyrail. Arriva tickets will also be accepted on Stagecoach Quality Network Routes – services 10A, 14, 53, 82, 86, 471 and 472. For details of times and other bus services please visit Merseytravel.

For those considering cycling, University students receive a Citybike discount.

    Ref. strikes, Merseyrail are also on strike on Wednesday 8th November with only a limited sevice and finishing early evening.
