Arriva North West has confirmed that planned industrial action by drivers and engineers on Thursday, 7 December has been called off. Arriva busses will now run as normal on that day.
Further industrial action which will affect bus services used by many staff and students is, however, still planned for a number of dates in December.
There will be no Arriva services operating within Merseyside on the following dates:
- Tuesday, 12 December
- Wednesday, 13 December
- Thursday, 14 December
- Wednesday, 20 December
- Thursday, 21 December
- Friday, 22 December
- Saturday, 23 December
Some services on the bus network are part of the Quality Bus Network – a partnership between Merseytravel, bus operators and the local councils. Normal ticket acceptance will apply on the Quality Bus Network and more details can be found here.
