We’ve been looking ahead to some of the best events Liverpool has to offer during March; from a fire festival through to free exhibitions at Tate Liverpool.
The events we’ve included are either free for students, or are discounted. If you attend one of these events – of if you attend another event on campus or in Liverpool – we’d love to hear from you. Let us know how you get on @LivUni #LivUni.
Learn how to code and build a robot – 23 March 2018
A free beginners introduction to coding is being run by HiPy on Friday, 23 March in Liverpool.
During the session you’ll learn how to use Python – a programming language that powers sites like Google and YouTube. You will also be taught how to use Arduino, which is an open source platform used to develop electronics projects. Using Arduino, you’ll build a robot and, if all goes well, you’ll then be able to race your robot.
To book onto this free event, visit the HiPy website.
