Wellbeing Week 2018: 50 activities taking place across campus

Campus 5K Run Wellbeing Week

Wellbeing Week kicks off this week with staff and students able to take part in a variety of activities aimed to boost health and wellbeing.

There are over 50 sessions taking place throughout the week, which runs from Monday, 30 April through to Friday, 4 May. The hugely popular 5k Campus Run is back for 2018, along with falconry, yoga and many other events. To see the full programme, please visit the Wellbeing Week webpages.

Speaking about the event, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Patrick Hackett, said: “Wellbeing Week is always a highlight of the academic year and I strongly encourage staff and students to get involved.”

The programme – which will take place at Leahurst and London, as well as at our Liverpool campus – will focus on the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ developed by the NHS:

  • Be Mindful
  • Be Active
  • Keep Learning
  • Give to Others
  • Connect

If you choose to take part in an activity this year, or if you would like to keep up-to-date with everything taking place during Wellbeing Week, our official hashtag is: #LivUniWellbeing.
