London Euston train station will be closed across three weekends in August and September to allow vital improvement work to take place at Wembley.
The work is part of Britain’s Railway Upgrade Plan and will have an impact on many West Coast mainline services including those from Liverpool to London.
On the following weekends there will be no trains to, or from London Euston:
- 18-19 August
- 25-27 August (Bank Holiday weekend)
- 1-2 September
Network Rail are advising passengers to avoid travel wherever possible on those dates as services will be diverted and are expected to be busier, and take longer than usual. Queuing systems will be in place at some stations, and bus replacements may also be used.
